Heritage Pizza & Taproom

There are few things that we love more in this world here at Coolector HQ than that of pizza and beer and when these two wonderful bedfellows meet in retro style awesomeness, it’s almost too much to bear. Well, that’s exactly what has happened now that we’ve discovered the Heritage Pizza & Taproom which, lamentably and deeply depressingly for us, is situated on the other side of the Atlantic.

The Heritage Pizza & Taproom is a recently launched endeavour in Texas and it looks to be exactly the sort of establishment that we’d spent 99% of our time at The Coolector given the opportunity. For any man with a love of craft beers and delicious looking hand made pizzas (which surely must be all men) then you’ll find few better places to gravitate towards should you find yourself in Texas at any time.

Mouthwatering Treats

Beer on tap and a pizza menu that will have you drooling just looking at it, the Heritage Pizza & Taproom has essentially got a tractor beam emanating from it that will trap any men walking by with its delicious sounding wares. It is the newest concept from 33 Restaurant Group partners Preston Lancaster and Tony Smith and resides in The Colony area of Texas for anybody that will be actively seeking it out.

It is the amazing branding and design of the joint that immediately caught our eye here at Coolector HQ and for those of you with a real penchant for vintage style interiors and branding, you’ll love what you’ll find when you walk through the doors of the Heritage Pizza & Taproom. It pays homage to the classic pizza parlour and delivers a stunning array of thin crust pizzas, baked pastas, hot sandwiches, appetisers, salads and decadent desserts an no one will leave this place in anything short of a carb coma.

A beer lover’s dream ticket, Heritage Pizza & Taproom is all about the growlers and even offers growler beer delivery in the local neighbourhood which is something that we’d definitely be on board with in our own local area here at Coolector HQ. The beer menu is full of great sounding ales on tap that are regularly changed so you’ll always have delicious new offerings to sate your appetite for the amber nectar.

Beer, Beer Everywhere…And Plenty To Drink

We’d undoubtedly experience a sensory overload in Heritage Pizza & Taproom with such a fantastic selection of beers and pizzas to be picked from. Measuring over 3000 square feet, the bar boasts no fewer than 40 taps of carefully chosen craft beers with offerings from popular breweries including Karbach, Peticolas, Lakewood, Oak Highlands as well as taps for Holy Kombucha, Oak Cliff Vintage Root Beer and Texas’ own Cuvee cold brew coffee.

The branding and interior design alone would be enough to tempt us to visit Heritage Pizza & Taproom but the fact it filled to the brim with amazing food and drink is the real icing on the cake. Anyone in Texas that doesn’t find themselves winding up here at some point or other is definitely doing Texas wrong.
