Inside Llewyn Davis

As firm fans of the body of work of the Coen Brothers, we’re definitely excited whenever their latest film is set to drop and even more so when it looks as indescribably excellent as Inside Llewyn Davis. This sensational looking film from the men behind Fargo, O Brother Where Art Thou and No Country for Old Men look to have another absolutely classic on their hands with this country music inspired number.

Inside Llewyn Davis essentially follows the week in a life of a young country singer (yep, Llewyn Davis) and the various trials and tribulations that he encounters as he tries to make it on the country singing circuit in 1960s New York City. The movie stars a veritable multitude of big names including, as you may expect from a Coen film, John Goodman, but he looks to be admirably supported by a fine leading performance from an actor unbeknownst to us at The Coolector previously who goes by the name of Oscar Isaac and the always pretty impressive Justin Timberlake and Carey Mulligan.

The film is set for release in December and we’re certainly going to make sure we’re first in line to see it.
