Mr Plant Natural Skateboard

As we’ve regularly alluded to in the past, we continually butt heads with gravity in all previous attempts at skateboarding here at Coolector HQ but that doesn’t mean to say that we can appreciate the steeds used in this pursuit and undoubtedly amongst the finest looking we’ve ever come across is this fantastically conceived Mr Plant Natural Skateboard that boasts an incredibly pleasing aesthetic appeal with a base made of tree bark that sets it apart from other skateboards on the market wonderfully well.

Whilst it is a skateboard in every conventional sense, this awesome looking machine is made all the better by going back to basics and looking almost like a prehistoric skateboard pinched from a caveman. We’re huge fans of innovative design projects at The Coolector and there is no doubting that this skateboard from Mr Plant ticks all of our design loving boxes. Mr Plant is better known as Parisian, Christophe Guinet, who is a graphic designer with a penchant for outdoor living which shines through supremely well in his Natural Skateboard project. Take a look at a few more shots of this cracking skateboard below:

Though it is currently commercially available, we’d certainly be keen to add this Fred Flintstone-esque mode of transportation to our travelling options here at Coolector HQ and we dare say that there are plenty of people more enamoured with skateboarding than us that will feel exactly the same. A great looking design project which is both visually arresting and a great example of how natural products can be used to make everyday items all the more extraordinary.
