Australia seems to be home to some magnificent pieces of architecture (if the sheer number of recent posts here on The Coolector are anything to go by) and you can certainly add another to this list in the form of the minimalist Point Lonsdale House which was designed by InForm Architects.

The Point Lonsdale House is a beach house in the Victoria area of Australia and boasts a clever, intuitive split level design which showcases the impressive architectural talents of InForm and delivers a first rate example of modern, minimalist style living – something which is invariably up our street here at Coolector HQ.

Simply Spectacular

There’s no denying that, externally, the Point Lonsdale House appears to have a very simple, even basic, aesthetic but this belies what is to be found inside and complements the whole project wonderfully well. The discrete timber box design that is seen from the front gives way to a thoroughly unexpected and highly impressive expansive, glazed pavilion to be found at the rear of the property and which provides the perfect spot to relax and get away from it all.

Exemplary design features are to be found throughout the Point Lonsdale House in Australia and this is testament to the talents of InForm and their interior designers. With three bedrooms and a large, open plan living area, this cracking construction is the epitome of modern living and provides the ideal space in which to enjoy all the amazing scenery and adventures to be found on the Victoria coastline in Australia.

The ultimate entertainment pad, the Point Lonsdale House boasts the aforementioned expansive deck which leads out to an outdoor fire perfect for those summer BBQs and pool for cooling off in and the lower level lounge opens out to a private tiled courtyard space for enjoying a beverage or two. The whole space flows wonderfully well and whether inside or out, this house never ceases to impress.

We’re hugely impressed with the minimalist vibe throughout the property and it’s hard not to be won over with the luxurious courtyard space to the rear.
