R-Kaid-R

As a child of the 80s, we remember all too well the obscene amount of time spent in the arcades during a misspent youth and I think its fair to say that a part of us misses the simplicity of yesteryear’s arcade games despite all the impressiveness of today’s next generation offerings. If you’re similarly enamoured with the vintage arcade games of yore then you’ll want to sit up and take notice of a devilishly dapper device that we’ve just stumbled across that goes by the name of the R-KAID-R and which you’ll going to want in your life very soon indeed doubtlessly.

The R-KAID-R is billed as a manifestation of and tribute to the classic arcade machine and, truth be told, we couldn’t be more excited here at Coolector HQ. Or, at least, we couldn’t be if we had bottomless pockets because the R-KAID-R boasts a pretty hefty price tag but that is to be expected for something of such obvious epicness. What sets this arcade emulator apart is the fact it is made by hand, crafted from solid wood and is encased in its own, highly attractive, carry case for an additional level of portability. The thought of whipping an R-KAID-R out during a morning commute feels us with unbridled joy here at Coolector HQ. Check out a few more shots of this jaw-dropping combination of aesthetic excellence and vintage gaming below:
