TOC Watch

Whilst the say beauty is in the eye of the beholder, you will, every now and then, come across something that elevates itself above this mindset and will appeal to more or less everyone and, so far as watches are concerned, chances are the TOC Watch, which are funding on Kickstarter as we speak, is one of the finest examples of this in action. Exceptionally dapper and wonderfully well made, it’s hard to believe that a watch of this calibre is currently available for under €200 on the crowdfunding platform.

The TOC Watch is a hand wound timepiece that really do make a personal statement through an attractive design and superb attention to detail in their crafting that sets them apart from the competition in the crowdfunding arena. Inspired, as many watches are, by the Bauhaus movement, these stylish timepieces are right up our street here at Coolector HQ and we’re loving the magnificent materials and striking visuals on offer with each of the different iterations of their watch available for a bargain price on Kickstarter right now.

Time on Your Side

Whilst the TOC Watch might be a brand new entry in the incredibly competitive world of watchmaking, they very much look to have hit a home run right off the bat with their TOC19 Watch which is their debut offering available for purchase over on Kickstarter. As mentioned, these watches are inspired by the Bauhaus movement which was established in 1919 and, as a result, only 1919 of these timepieces will be made available to purchase via this campaign which is a nice touch to the design inspiration for their striking collection of watches.

Form and function are two principal design elements that are central to the TOC Watch on Kickstarter and if you value a well made watch, with first class materials and specifications that doesn’t cost the earth to get on your wrist, you’re certainly not going to go too far wrong here. Functional, immeasurably stylish and boasting materials that belie their affordability, the TOC Watch has an awful lot going on in its favour and it’s hard not to be won over by their understated yet eye-catching aesthetics.

With a case that is crafted from 316L surgical grade stainless steel, these are incredibly robust and durable watches that are made to be worn every day and will suit more or less every occasion. They also boast sapphire crystal glass casing (a material considerably tougher than Gorilla Glass), a Seagull ST3621 mechanical movement and luxurious Italian leather straps – it’s perhaps at this point that we should reiterate that these watches can be yours for €200.

Choices, Choices

One of the stand out features of the TOC Watch is the amount of choice regarding the style and colour of the watch that you’re putting on your wrist. Two of the dials have an eye-catching smooth finish in Retro Cream and Carbon Black. The other four dials are finished with a breathtaking sunray pattern that reflects light at every angle: Crimson Red, Graphite Grey, Emerald Green and Silver so regardless of the look of watch that you’re after, you’re sure to find something that fits the bill with the TOC Watch.

Kickstarter is a veritable hotbed of great watches but not many can hold a candle to the TOC Watch in terms of aesthetic superiority, affordability and the quality of the materials used in their crafting. We’re big fans of the visuals of these watches here at Coolector HQ and we’re certainly not surprised to see that they have already flown past their funding target.
