Somewhat shamefully, we here at Coolector HQ (well, just me) have yet to fully grasp the alphabet. Now, don’t get us wrong, we know all the letters, we’ve just never bothered to learn the order. That may have been because we didn’t have the correct stimulus to encourage us but all that’s about to change now we’ve discovered this excellent alphabet illustration from Minnesota based artist, writer and illustrator, Otis Frampton.
A humorous and sci-fi retelling of the alphabet is definitely right up our street here at The Coolector and we’re mightily impressed with the illustrative skills of the chap and he’s come as close as any to making us want to go back and get a handle on this whole alphabet malarky. Having worked on comic books and animation projects for almost a decade now, Frampton certainly has a well-honed and highly skilled drawing hand which comes through wonderfully well in his alphabet series. We’ll let you know how we get on.
