The Iron & Resin Truckston Moto Jacket is built from a 1.1mm semi veg tanned steer hide that has been oiled and tumbled to provide it with an already broken in feel “right out of the box.” They have also added a thick quilting across the shoulders and rear tail of the jacket for even more critical-point protection. To further ensure mental soundness and impact protection, Iron & Resin added low-profile removable CE Level 2 armor in the back/spine, shoulders and elbows.
Open Road Jacket | $350
This jacket has been on Iron & Resin’s drawing board for a few years now. They wanted to develop a timeless, heirloom quality piece of outerwear that looks as good on a city street as it does rolling around in the dirt at camp. With an outer layer made from split cow hide you get the abrasion resistance and durability of grain leather, but improved flexibility. Plus, we love the rugged look of a split hide. It’s heavy.
