8 of the coolest wallets for your EDC line up

Wallets are, of course, the cornerstone of any man’s EDC line up given we use them on a daily basis and they need to be able to stand up to the rigours that result from this. There are definitely no shortage of wallets to choose from and we’ve compiled a list of 8 of the coolest wallets for your everyday carry line up below:

Koshu Origami Leather Wallet ($75)

A single piece of leather, five precision folds, and a custom brass snap -that’s all there is to a Koshu Origami Leather Wallet ($75) and we love it for that reason here at Coolector HQ. It’s clear there’s much more going on from a design perspective with this great looking piece of EDC. Proceedings are kicked off with Grade-A American leathers and each wallet is handcrafted in San Diego from an inspired origami design that provides you all the functionality of a minimalist wallet in an unabashedly striking package. There is enough space for folded bills and a bunch of cards, a Koshu wallet is clean, understated, and everything you need from your essential piece of EDC. ($75)

Andar Apollo – 6 Card Wallet + Money Clip ($59)

Made from high quality, full-grain leather that is soft right out of the box and continues to break in over time, developing a nice patina in the process, we’re big fans of the aesthetics and affordability of the Andar Apollo – 6 Card Wallet + Money Clip ($59) here at The Coolector. The streamlined design does away with any excess bulk and puts emphasis on comfort. It can hold up to ten cards and has loads of interior room for paper bills that stay in place courtesy of the money clip. ($59)

Bexar Goods Co. S.O.S Slim Wallet ($75)

The ultimate in sleek, understated design, there’s a lot to appreciate with this Bexar Goods Co. S.O.S Slim Wallet ($75). It is one of the most simplistic wallet styles offered and boasts three pockets, two on the outside that allow for rapid access to cards and one in the middle for stashing cash or more cards. It is saddle stitched by hand, joining each leather piece together with a robust poly cord thread. The saddle stitch technique has been used for centuries by expert leather workers, and has a distinct durability advantage when it is compared to the lock stitch technique used by machine stitching.
