G-SHOCK GA2110 Earth Tone Colour Series Watches

G-SHOCK make some of the world’s most robust and reliable timepieces and whenever they’ve got a new release on the market, we could help but be interested here at The Coolector. One of their latest offerings, the awesome yet understated Earth Tone Colour Series of watches, is one of our favourite launches from the Casio brand in some time and if you’re after an adventure ready timepiece for summer, look no further.

Available from the Worn & Wound WindUp Store, these G-SHOCK Earth Tone Colour Series Watches have a price tag of $110 so they represent excellent value for money considering you can get such a cool looking and durable timepiece on your wrist for under $150. With an analogue and digital dial display, this is a mighty versatile watch that will stand the test of time from a performance and style perspective.

Down to Earth Design

G-SHOCK’s new GA2110 Earth Tone Color Series positively packs all the no-nonsense functionality we’ve come to expect from the watchmaker but, this time, it comes in a streamlined case that’s unlike anything else G-SHOCK has released to date. An ana-digi design that has been appropriately monikered the “Casioak”, the GA2100 boasts a striking octagonal shape, and has a style completely its own. This edition is rendered in a contrasting two-tone look with understated colours that take their design inspiration from the great outdoors.

The G-SHOCK Earth Tone Colour Series ($110) measures in at 45.4mm wide by 48.5mm long, which makes it sound like a large timepiece but on the wrist, it tells a different story. With a thickness of 11.4mm (achieved with G-SHOCK’s new Carbon Guard Core technology), this great looking watch wears significantly thinner than most other G-SHOCKs you’ll find on the market. The resin case and band are also extremely lightweight, making for a comfortable full day of wear.

The GA2110 effortlessly blends an analogue display with cool digital features for a cohesive and simple-to-use experience. The analogue features include the traditional handset and a small sub-dial that points to the day of the week at 9 o’clock. You’ll also find a small LCD screen cut into the dial that opens up an array of impressive features that are sure to come in handy day in, day out and includes a world time mode, stopwatch, countdown timer, and the ability to set several alarms. With a backlit screen, you will be able to make the best of these functions even in low light conditions.
