All New Machine Era Co Wallet

One of the first brands we wrote about back when we started The Coolector was an American wallet and EDC maker by the name of Machine Era Co. We’re delighted that this ace brand is still going strong and has just launched a new wallet over on Kickstarter. Their wallet was the product that kickstarted their success (literally and figuratively) and this new version upgrades and enhances the original in a number of key areas.

The All New Machine Era Co Wallet on Kickstarter has a great introductory price of just $65 for the Black Aluminum version and $85 for the Solid Brass one (our own favourite here at Coolector HQ). Each one of these classy wallets is machined from a solid block of material. Using 3D machining techniques, the material is sculpted to the ideal shape and size for an ideal fit in both the hand and the pocket. Every radius and corner is designed for comfort and ease of use with a satisfying in-hand feel.

The open-faced design really sets the Machine Era Co Wallet apart from the competition and it is built this way as enclosed wallets typically add unnecessary bulk, and are cumbersome to use. Removing cards is much easier in an open-face design. Boasting a number of in-built features that make pulling cards out easy, this wallet is extremely user friendly and will become a mainstay of your EDC lineup.

The rear thumb slot is designed for easy access to an often-used specific card, such as an ID or credit card. Front side cutouts enable the user to pull back and thumb through a stack. The rear thumb slot not only allows for quick access to whichever card you keep at the back of your wallet – it opens bottles too which makes it perfect for those impromptu desk beers at week.

The multi-step blasted finishing process (on the Titanium and Brass iterations) allows for the best tactile experience while reducing finger prints. The aluminium version is smooth, matte, stonewashed anodised black and also looks and feels great in the hand. After a new wallet that ticks all your style and functionality boxes? Look no further – head on over to Kickstarter now.
