The Baltic x Peter Auto TRICOMPAX Watch is one of the coolest looking watches we’ve seen in a while and, truth be told, in the field of historic motor racing, Peter Auto is a reference. The events organised by Patrick Peter’s team, in France as well as in Europe, are amongst the most exceptional to participate in. Priced at €1975, this watch represent an investment but if you’re a fan of automotive inspired timepieces, this one is tough to beat from an aesthetic and performance perspective.

Designed in partnership with Peter Auto, Baltic’s first three-counter chronograph will go on sale on August 26th at 4pm (Paris time) and will be limited to just 300 pieces, all numbered, which will definitely sell out rapidly so you’ll need to move fast if you want to get this effortlessly classy watch on your wrist this summer. The three-counter chronograph has been the watch of choice of the greatest legends and most sensational racers in the sport since the 1960s so was a fitting choice for this collab with Peter Auto.

Amongst the nods to motorsport: the tachymeter scale bezel of the Baltic x Peter Auto watch has been designed to measure speeds up to 200 km/h and two colours recalling the intensity of the competition. The seconds hand, the minute counter and its hand are adorned with orange, while the hour register and its hand are yellow. This chronograph represents the beginning of an important chapter for Baltic as a watchmaker. For this timepiece, they have chosen the Sellita SW510-M, a Swiss hand-wound mechanical movement, ideally suited to the spirit of this chronograph. With over 60 hours of power reserve, this complication movement is known for its exemplary quality and reliability. After one of the coolest, motorsport inspired timepieces out there? You’ve just found it.
