Fera Trout Bum Collection

When you think of cool pastimes, trout fishing isn’t one that will likely instantly spring to mind but the guys at British outdoors apparel brand, Fera, are looking to put paid to that assumption with their ace-looking new capsule release – aptly named the Trout Bum Collection. Billed as a love letter to the British outdoors, Fera combines their love for its landscapes, customs and heritage with a streetwear philosophy. And the Trout Bum Collection is a fine example of why this is a brand to keep an eye out for in 2023 and beyond.

Check out our pick of the best bits from Fera’s Trout Bum Collection below:

Wandle Vest

Named after the River Wandle that runs through south London, Fera’s Wandle Vest is crafted from a hard-wearing cotton canvas. The vest boasts two front pockets, a secure internal pocket, recycled buttons and embroidery of the Fera Fly, a talisman guaranteed to deliver luck when fishing. Designed for fishing but will look awesome away from the rivers too.

Fly Box

Made by Richard Wheatley, a workshop that has made fly boxes since 1860, Fera’s great-looking fly boxes are constructed with an anodised aluminium finish. You could use them to store your fishing flies or you could choose to stash whatever you see fit in there. Win, win.

Fly Cap

Guaranteed to become your lucky fishing cap this spring. The Fera Fly Cap is made from a washed cotton twill and embroidered with the Fera Fly logo, you’re not going to want to take it off. Great for casting a line or enjoying craft beers in the sun this summer.

Trout Bum T-Shirt

Surfing might have surf bums but fishing has something better in our opinion here at The Coolector. Namely, this Trout Bum T-shirt from Fera which is made with garment dyed cotton and features a durable topstitch rib collar. Comfort and style rolled into one. What’s not to like?

Fera x Epic Fly Rod

Fera has left no stone unturned on this glass rod. Constructed in the brand’s orange colourway, it features an uplocking Struble U20 in nickel silver finish with a light, highly figured Amboyna wood insert and custom Snake Brand Ecolite guides attached with Kimono silk wrap. These rods are a thing of beauty and only two are available.

Fishing Net

Hand carved from wood and engraved with the Fera Fly, these nets have a fish-friendly rubber netting mesh that is ideal for catch and release. Made at edenMade’s workshop in Cumbria, Fera only have two of these nets available so move fast if you like what you see. Each is unique, one is crafted from Olive Ash and the other is from Applewood.
