KITH x Frank Lloyd Wright New Balance 998 Sneakers

Kith is a brand we’ve got a lot of time for here at The Coolector and they are proud to reveal its official partnership with the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation to create these, frankly awesome, New Balance Made in USA 998 Sneakers in a silhouette that is designed to celebrate its 35th anniversary and Wright’s revered architectural sketches.

The Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation, named after the visionary architect, aims to inspire discovery and appreciation for architecture for better living through meaningful connections to nature, the arts, and each other. The Foundation is located in Scottsdale, Arizona at Taliesin West, Frank Lloyd Wright’s last winter home and studio. The campaign for these New Balance 998 Sneakers was shot on location and boasts Taliesin West staff members.

The Ronnie Fieg & Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation for New Balance Made in USA 998 Sneakers have a classic mesh upper, alongside pigskin suede and hairy suede overlay panels, that add a great sense of texture to proceedings. The extremely limited release is offered in two unique colourways, highlighting creamy white alongside earthy brick red, warm apricot, and olive green–hues which are directly inspired by the architectural sketches and models of Wright’s futuristic city concept, Broadacre City.

These models will be available at Taliesin West in Scottsdale, Arizona. Located at 12621 N Frank Lloyd Wright Blvd in Scottsdale, Arizona. The pop-up will be held inside the Cabaret Theater and will be open from 9AM – 12PM MST, while supplies last. Any remaining units after 12PM MST will be available to purchase at Taliesin West’s gift shop. I’m afraid to say, if you’re reading this, it’s probably already too late.
