Nodus TrailTrekker Watch

Nodus are a watch brand that have long been on our radar here at The Coolector and they recently dropped possibly their most impressive and sought after timepiece to date in the shape of the TrailTrekker Watch. The first batch already flew off the shelves but the second batch is available for pre-ordering now, so make sure you don’t miss out this time around. The TrailTrekker Watch from Nodus comes in a stealthy, muted Clay colourway that we’re loving here at Coolector HQ and if you’re after a high calibre timepiece that doesn’t break the bank, you’ve just found it.

The Nodus TrailTrekker Watch retails for $875 and this collaboration is the result of a partnership between Nodus Design Lab and Raven Watches, a Kansas-based company famous for creating robust watches designed for any adventure big or small. Born out of years of friendship and worldwide travels, Nodus felt it was the ideal moment to merge the core identities of the two brands and the end result is the majestic-looking TrailTrekker Watch you see before you.

The fusion of Raven’s commitment to durability, adventure, and functionality with Nodus’ sophisticated manufacturing techniques has delivered a watch that’s ready for uncharted territories. The diverse terrain stretching between the home states served as Nodus’ inspiration, mirroring the daunting voyage undertaken by early American explorers seeking a route to the Gold Coast. Confronted with the formidable challenge of survival in the rugged heartland, these pioneers’ spirit now imbues the brilliant TrailTrekker timepiece.

This hazardous expedition tested the limits of both people and their gear. The relentless determination of these pioneers is a trait that permeates every aspect of the new TrailTrekker Watch from Nodus and Raven. While these timepieces were not present during those historical treks, Nodus has designed a watch that embodies the spirit of those who would have made it to the coast – a watch that is built to endure the travels of those navigating destinations unknown.

Project TrailTrekker introduces an innovative watch design featuring the Miyota 9075 GMT movement, which boasts an hour hand that can be adjusted independently. The entire watch is encased in a gunmetal grey DLC (GDLC) coating, offering scratch resistance and a robust look. For added protection, both the bezel and dial are coated with Cerakote®, a durable ceramic layer commonly utilized in military, aerospace, and automotive industries. Completing the design are 3D-chamfered gunmetal hands and indices, enhancing the watch’s overall appeal.
