When it comes to functional and versatile smartwatches, Pebble are undoubtedly at the forefront and their latest offering on Kickstarter looks set to please a lot of fitness enthusiasts with the capabilities that it has to offer.
The Pebble 2, Time 2 & Pebble Core is a combination of gadgetry that is sure to appeal to regular runners because they are heart rate-enabled smartwatches with a hackable, 3G ultra-wearable for phone-free running with GPS and music.
For any with an Apple watch who wants to use it for running, you’ll be only too aware of the annoyance of needing your phone with you for it to work properly and that’s the issue that this cracking collection of wares from Pebble overcomes. Take a look at a few more shots below:
Pebble have always excelled at offering a superior battery life and their notifications have always been great but by adding this third string to their bow with fitness tracking without the phone, they’re sure to have captured a whole new audience of smartwatch wearer.
