If you’re of a sporting persuasion and always on the hunt for new activities to keep you entertained, you’ll likely want to check out RallyHoops which is funding over on Kickstarter right now. Billed as a combination between volleyball and basketball, RallyHoops is a portable sports game that can be played anywhere – from the beach to concrete and everywhere in between.

With prices starting at $169 for their MVP pricing for a RallyHoops set, you don’t have to break the bank to bring an exciting and action packed new sporting event into your life. The game blends elements of volleyball and basketball, meaning it’s simple to pick up, addicting to play, and a fun way to keep fit. Its ultra-compact design allows the set to go with you more or less anywhere from camping trips to days at the beach and you can have a game on any terrain.

Simple to Learn, Fun to Play

RallyHoops is a fast-paced, four-player (2 vs 2) game that is rapid to set up, straightforward to grasp, yet difficult to master. This full-court game is played with two different-sized hoops on each side of the court and there are different scoring options, depending on who scores in which hoop, but a team has no more than 3 hits per team rally. Games are played to 21 points, but that doesn’t mean the game is over. Each player on the trailing team has 1 redemption shot to rally back and continue the game. When you start playing, it will all quickly make sense and the fun times will ensue.

So simple to unpack, all you need to do is lay the RallyHoops set on the ground and unhook the silicone bands from the bases, remove the 4 hoops and 2 poles, press the buttons on the bottom of the pole and insert it into the top of base; do the same with your second pole and base and, last but not least, slide the inner pole up until you hear a “click” for the standard (6’/4′) height and a second click for the advanced (7’/5′) height and you’re good to go.

When you back RallyHoops on Kickstarter, you’ll receive two bases, two retractable poles, four hoops (2 on each side), a ball pump with a needle, and one RallyHoops ball, which makes it the first full court hoops game that’s packaged into a portable briefcase and something we’ll definitely be looking to get our hands on here at The Coolector. Now that meeting up with friends is becoming an option again, now’s the time to think of new things to keep us entertained and RallyHoops has to be right up there with the best of them. Head on over to Kickstarter now to get your hands on a set for a bargain price.
