Sorapot

Tea and coffee obviously pale into insignificance for us here at Coolector HQ when compared to craft ales but on those days whereby hangovers make craft ales an attractive proposition or during hours when boozing might be inappropriate, there are few things that we enjoy more than a good old cup of tea or coffee.

Well, it’s tea that is falling under our purview on this particular occasion and the reason for this is a rather extraordinary looking vessel called Sorapot from American industrial designer, Joey Roth. The Sorapot provides a much more attractive tea delivery system than your regular fare and we’ve been left thoroughly impressed with the incredible design of this superb looking vessel. It is a much more contemporary style teapot made from stainless steel and glass and is built with loose-leaf teas in mind.

The Sorapot has been four years in the making but, judging from the visually engaging design and functionality, it certainly appears to have been worth the wait. If you’re a regular tea drinker and want to make the very best of loose leaf teas, the Sorapot really will bring them to life and from a visual perspective it is unparalleled. Take a look at a few more shots and a video of the Sorapot below to see why it’s a must for any tea-drinking aficionado:

The Sorapot is definitely one with the serious tea drinker in mind and if you fall into this bracket, you’ll be glad to hear that Joey Roth is currently taking pre-orders for the Sorapot on his website. We big fans of the minimalist aesthetic of the Sorapot here at Coolector HQ and the fact it seems to deliver a mightily delicious cup of tea every time. A first class product with a visual flare that is quite beyond compare.
