If you like to keep up to date with things direct from your workspace without constantly opening up your phone, the Tidbyt come the thing for you. This so-called retro display from the future is available for $159 during the Kickstarter which is 20% off the final retail price so move fast to bag yourself a bargain.

Runaway Success

Given the Tidbyt Retro Display is rapidly approaching half a million dollars in funding, it is clear to see that there are lot of people out there crying out for some retro-inspired awesomeness for their workspace in 2021. It can be used to check the weather, or when your train is arriving or track your favourite stock tickers. You can also browse Tidbyt’s rapidly growing array of apps and choose what information matters to you.

The Tidbyt Retro Display (from $159) comes in a solid walnut enclosure and will look pretty amazing on your desk or bookshelf. Set it up once with your phone, and it stays updated through its own Wi-Fi connection. It can display pretty much anything, as long as it fits on the screen and with the Tidbyt app, you can schedule what you want to see and when. Your subway stop every morning? No problem. Your calendar throughout the day? Done.

Tidbyt will cycle through the apps you select, one at a time. They can be scheduled to run at different times of the day if you wish or, alternatively, all at once. And if you want to keep it by your bed, Tidbyt’s Night Mode can make the display go ultra-dim so it doesn’t distract you whilst you’re trying to sleep. With Tidbyt you can effortlessly cycle through multiple stock tickers, time and weather in different cities, multiple subway stops, a bunch of fun messages and much more.

Customisable Controls

There are brightness controls and a night mode for the Tidbyt Retro Display and it can get really, really bright if you want it to. But sometimes that’s not what you want, so they have built some great ways to control how bright your Tidbyt is and ensure that it always has the perfect amount of ambience for the space in which you’re displaying it.
