This is a unique take on an outdoors, adventure-ready sports watch and will look great on any wrist this summer.

Priced at $425, the Vero Workhorse Chronograph Watch is great value because you’re getting a Big Bang for your buck here based upon the quality components and excellent design aesthetic. Those of you who are in the market for a truly contemporary sports watch with a unique take on the genre need look no further than these superb Workhorse Chronographs from the Worn & Wound Store. Designed for athletes and outdoors aficionados, the Workhorse bucks today’s trends to deliver a singular expression of what a hardwearing, tool-watch can do.

A WATCH FOR THE ADVENTUROUS

Boasting a metal-shroud construction with a layer of Cerakote and moulded pushers, the Workhorse Chronograph Watch from Vero also has interesting colour opportunities for a truly different visual impact to most timepieces you find on the market today – and we love it all the more for it here at The Coolector. Measuring 44.5mm x 49.5mm x 15.5mm, the dimensions of the Workhorse give the impression of a very sizeable watch, however, on the wrist they are quite approachable, though undeniably impactful.

Oversized crowns and pushers on the Vero Workhorse Chronograph Watch ($425) create the illusion of a smaller size and are easy to use even when in an active situation. The “destro” or left-side design adds additional comfort on the wrist for the wearer, as well as straightforward access to the internal bezel crown at the two position. The Cerakoted shroud is protected from scrapes and bumps via a metal-wire bumper, which also adds to the overall uncompromising aesthetic of this timepiece.

The dial on the Workhorse deftly mixes a clean, modern language with legibility for a watch that is both stylish and functional. The sculpted shape provides a unique design element that further pushes the modern aesthetic of this bold timepiece from Vero. Powering the Workhorse is the Miyota 62S1 quartz chronograph movement which, unlike most quartz chronographs, has a 62S1’s chrono seconds hand that ticks at 1/4th a second, for a smoother sweep and more accurate measurement. Additionally, it can time activities up to 60 minutes.
