We’re pretty big into our football (soccer) here at Coolector HQ and it is noticeable to us that there isn’t a huge amount of innovation around the creation of equipment relating to the sport. Thankfully, however, 3D printing has stepped in again and left us wowed and, in this particularly case, it is these fantastic looking ZWEIKAMPF Shin Guards that have turned our heads.

Billed as being revolutionary 3D-printed shin guards that combine all the best qualities football players will be looking for – namely, they’re individualised, comfortable, light and superior-looking. Shin guards are often an afterthought for football players, merely a piece of essential equipment whereby any pair will do but the ZWEIKAMPF Shin Guards aim to show that their superior quality will help enhance performance.

Described as being the world’s first, premium 3D-printed shin guards for professional and recreational players and hand crafted in Austria, we’re loving the aesthetics and branding of these great looking shin guards at Coolector HQ and would love to test them out and see whether they offer a more comfortable fit than generic pairs. Take a look at a few more shots below:

Incredibly lightweight yet exceptionally robust, these excellent ZWEIKAMPF Shin Guards are definitely going to appeal to football players out there wanting the very best equipment available. Capitalising on the versatility of 3D printing and made from great materials by football lovers, this superb Kickstarter project certainly gets two thumbs up from us here at Coolector HQ.
