New York seems to be a hotbed of talented graphic designers and we’ve got another name to add to that ever-growing list heralding from the Big Apple in the form of Michelle Samuels and The Coolector’s attention was drawn to her excellent illustration skills because of her top notch Minimalist Superheroes series.
This great looking set of illustrations incorporates all the superheroes that we know and love – we’re talking Spiderman, Batman, Superman, Wolverine et al – and she has created some genuinely spiffing, and instantly recognisable, pictograms of these fabled superheroes alongside some of their most memorable quotes to add to the impressive visual impact of the series.
Though Samuel has carried out this work as a side project, we here at The Coolector certainly hope that she will be developing it into a fully-fledged series of purchasable posters because we’d definitely appreciate having some of these gallant chaps looking down on us at Coolector HQ. Check out the black and white colourway of her characters below and see which you can guess:
