Newman Radios

I think it’s fair to say that we here at The Coolector loved the way old radios worked and their visual appeal is far above many of their modern contemporaries but, truth be told, they have been left well and truly in the wake of the ever-forward onward march of technology. As luck would have it, however, we’ve come across a device that caters to both our loved of vintage and our craving for technology and it goes by the name of Newman Radios.

These excellent looking devices take old radios and drag them kicking and screaming into the 21st century. If you’re wondering what we mean by this, it’s basically that these Newman Radios are revitalised versions of old radios that makes them capable of receiving today’s modern communiqués i.e. bluetooth and wifi. Impeccably stylish and no longer languishing in the past, we’re loving these Newman Radios from Somerset based, Carl Godfrey, who has taken the time to lovingly restore devices which evoke the Mad Men era and let you slap your Bieber tunes on there until your heart’s content. Kudos, sir, and thank you.

If you’ve got a love of all things retro, these Newman Radios will definitely float your boat and they look all sorts of awesome as well as breathing new life into forgotten bits of technology – something for which we have a lot of time for here at Coolector HQ.
