Airstream Studio F. A. Porsche Concept Travel Trailer

With a name that slips off the tongue, this Airstream Studio F. A. Porsche Concept Travel Trailer has definitely caught our attention here at The Coolector and certainly has us hoping it makes the leap from idea to reality. Billed as a travel trailer concept for the new world of outdoor adventure, this is one sleek-looking offering and, as you might expect, offer plenty of luxury for your next road-trip excursion.

The Airstream Studio F. A. Porsche Concept Travel Trailer has been created in conjunction with the legendary Studio F. A. Porsche and this effortlessly cool concept design boasts a range of carefully considered innovations and improvements that will enhance the RV ownership experience and make for an unforgettable experience out on the open road.

The concept behind this build is to create the first “garageable” Airstream in the company’s 90-year history. An automatic suspension in the chassis allows the trailer’s body to be lowered, which would allow for storage in most home garages. This capacity makes ownership much more straightforward and hassle-free for a broader range of customers, including those faced with community regulations or a lack of convenient, secure off-site storage.

It boasts advancements in aerodynamics which includes a new rear shape that sheds air while in motion and a flush underside without drag-creating projections. The concept’s automatic suspension (which would be a first for Airstream) allows the trailer’s chassis height to be adjusted to reduce aerodynamic drag and make for a more streamlined performance out on the road.

An innovative interior design really makes the most of the trailer’s space and uses windows and skylights to deliver a roomy interior feel that connects owners with the great outdoors. Inside and outside are further melded by the redesigned rear hatch, which boasts a hinge-up hatch and a drop-down tailgate. Awnings can be attached to the hatch to create a shady area to relax, unwind and plan your next road trip adventure.
