My immediate thoughts having watched this gameplay trailer for the forthcoming next generation, Dead Rising 3, were that The Walking Dead need to pull their fingers out a little when it comes to how they have Rick, Daryl et al dealing with the hordes of zombies they encounter. I mean, shooting them in the head is all well and good but have they thrown a beach ball at them or cut them up with what appears to be a lightsabre whilst dressed as a knight? No, sir, they have not.
Dead Rising 3 is an Xbox One exclusive and, I for one, cannot help but be wowed by the first impressions of the game based on the gameplay footage above. As a fan of this type of game, Dead Rising 3 was already right up my street and having feasted my eyes on what the game has in store when it hits the stores, it looks as though I definitely won’t be disappointed. Jaw-dropping visuals combined with genuinely amusing ways of dispatching the zombies looks to be the call of the day with Dead Rising 3 and, here at Coolector HQ, we’re all about coming up with ingenious zombie offing ideas so we can’t wait to get our hands on this awesome looking game. Dead Rising 3 is pencilled in for a November release to coincide with the launch of the Xbox One and it is making The Coolector’s decision as to which console to opt for this winter very hard indeed.
