Every so often artists and photographers go a little above and beyond the call of duty to capture their images and that’s definitely what we have on our hands with the extraordinary work of Fabian Oefner in his visually stunning Disintegrating Cars prints. The excellent video above does a great job of capturing the painstaking lengths that were gone to to capture some mesmerising shots of a variety of luxury cars in various stages of explosion.
We’re big fans of luxury vehicles here at The Coolector and we’re glad to note that any replicas of the machines were destroyed to capture the images in Oefner’s series of work. If you’re of a mechanical persuasion, then we’re in no doubt that you’ll be joining us in picking our jaws up from the floor at the precision of the photography and the truly stunning end results that have been achieved in this mightily impressive photography project.
