HAL x Asics Gel Lyte V ‘Medic’ Trainers

Though we’d hardly classify ourselves as ardent runners here at The Coolector we do endeavour to keep our eye out for eye-catching sneakers and running shoes and, quite frankly, these brilliant looking HAL x Asics Gel Lyte V ‘Medic’ Trainers are the best we’ve seen in a good long while.

Despite the name, these trainers don’t boast some sort of sentient robot within them and are, in fact, a collaboration between Highs and Lows (HAL) and Asics and the finished result is a devilishly stylish pair of sneakers that are right up our aesthetic street. Given their own unique spin to the iconic Gels Lyte trainers from Asics, this awesome pair of footwear definitely won’t let you down from a comfort point of view and if you’re after some striking footwear, these will definitely tick all of the right boxes. The design inspiration for these brilliant looking sneakers is olive drab fatigues worn by military medics (hence the moniker of the footwear) and mainly black garment leather with olive drab perforated suede upper and understated pops of red and white often found on the medical cross make these a subtle, functional and comfortable pair of shoes that will likely find plenty of favour amongst sneaker aficionados.
