Hanhart PIONEER Flieger One NightBlue Watch

Aviation-style watches are always going to garner our attention here at The Coolector and the guys at Hanhart are definitely one of the best in the business in this arena – something that their latest release, the PIONEER Flieger One NightBlue Watch, admirably illustrates. This is a new special edition, limited to only 150 pieces and it boasts a dark blue dial paired with a black PVD-coated case and distinctive cowhide strap with suede finish and red cross stitching on the lugs give the watch a unique design.

Priced at £1100, the Hanhart PIONEER Flieger One NightBlue is the perfect entry level luxury watch in our opinion and by reducing it to a three-hand timepiece, the unique charm of the 1950s is brought back to life in a contemporary fashion. Matching the style of the watch, the stainless steel case has been black PVD coated and the case back bears the respective limitation number XXX/150 and the historical Hanhart “h”.

The convex, internally anti-reflective sapphire crystal watch face provides excellent protection against scrapes, and with a water resistance of up to 10 bar / 10 ATM, the PIONEER Flieger One NightBlue is ideally suited for everyday use and outdoor adventures in 2023 and beyond.

Inside the watch, you’ll find the ever-reliable SW 200 automatic movement from the renowned Swiss manufacturer Sellita in the best Swiss-made quality. It has a power reserve of 38 hours and this classy-looking aviation-inspired timepiece is comfortable to wear from day dot courtesy of the strap made of ox leather in blue with a devilishly dapper suede finish.

The numerals and hands of the limited PIONEER Flieger One NightBlue are coated with modern Super LumiNova® C1 luminous material for improved readability in low light conditions and each one of these watches has been crafted by Hanhart with a real emphasis on the best robustness and readability.
