Lamborghini Countach LP400 S Series II

The 1980s was in a league of its own so far as luxury car design was concerned and there aren’t many better examples of this fact in action than this, frankly rather breathtaking, Lamborghini Countach LP400 S Series II that is available to buy from German car specialists, Schaltkulisse. Incredibly rare and sought after, this is one of just 105 Series II examples built and it comes in the desirable “low-body” Countach aesthetic which ramps up its appeal even further amongst serious car collectors.

Having undergone a recent engine overhaul at the hands of mark specialists in Italy, this spectacular Lamborghini Countach LP400 S Series II from Schaltkulisse was delivered new to Switzerland in 1982 and its history is well-documented and fully traceable, having only had five owners from new, three of which were in Switzerland. Its current owner treated the car to a full engine overhaul by specialist Top Motors Salvioli in 2022 as well as a fresh repaint in the striking colour of Tahiti Blue by Carrozzeria Meschiari in Italy.

On the inside of this breathtaking Lamborghini, you’ll find a wonderfully patinated cream and brown interior that remains untouched from the day it was delivered. In total, the Countach has only been driven about 46,400 km from new and it is presented in remarkably good condition for whoever is lucky enough to get their mitts on this majestic steed.

This phenomenal-looking machine is ready to be enjoyed on the sunny Italian roads this summer and comes fully documented with invoices and its original manuals. At only 105 examples built, the LP400S Series II remains an underrated and undervalued bull and is just waiting for its time to come. You’ll undoubtedly need deep pockets to make this your next mode of transportation but, if you do, you’ll have one of the coolest looking cars on the planet in your garage.
