I think it’s fair to say that, as campers, we’ve pretty much conquered the ground so its patently time to take it to the trees. With this in mind, The Coolector’s attention has naturally been drawn to this rather fantastic Kickstarter project that goes by the name of the Nubé Hammock Shelter. Whilst I’m reluctant to say that they don’t need your help because they’ve already smashed their target on Kickstarter rather handsomely, you should still show them some financial support because it will result an even more awesome end-product when they bring it to market.
Billed as the most complete hammock shelter ever produced (a wonderfully bold claim), the Nubé is definitely going to be an essential purchase for those who spend more time in the great outdoors than the less great indoors. Providing shelter from even the heaviest of downpours and the most irritating of insects whilst also providing an exceptionally comfortable resting place, the Nubé really is an impressive bit of kit that will leave you laughing whilst languishing in the trees watching your mates struggling to put their tents up.
Boasting all sorts of features that set it apart, the Nubé is exceptionally versatile, is incredibly lightweight (no poles required) and surprisingly spacious and you will be able to get all your gentlemanly manly possession in there with you. 13ft in length and a total weight of just over a kilogram, the Nubé is attached to trees via “Sky Hooks” and it’s extremely easy to set-up so you’ll be chilling in your Nubé in no time.
