VanMoof V Hyperbike

Electric bikes are definitely becoming the go-to form of transportation for many urban dwellers but their design seems to have plateaued a little of late and it is high time that someone shook up the electric bike industry. Enter VanMoof and their superb looking V Hyperbike. This quality piece of design looks set to take the electric bike industry by storm and for good reason. This impressive looking steed is optimised for long commutes and first deliveries are expected late 2022.

The VanMoof V Hyperbike will retail for around £3.5k and has the intention of redefining city mobility for good. The VanMoof V is the brand’s first high-speed e-bike and will deliver riders with a true car replacement for everyday life in cities and beyond. It boasts integrated speed settings to match country regulations and the VanMoof V will be able to reach speeds up to 50 km/h or 31 mp/h. It will be full of new features optimised to shrink even the largest of cities.

The VanMoof V has been purpose built to keep the joy and simplicity of riding a bike, while also providing the advantages of more power and speed. It features two-wheel drive, front and rear suspension, thicker tires and a new striking and iconic frame design, which makes the VanMoof V perfectly optimised for smoother and longer-distance rides. The bike’s dual motors will ensure a more powerful acceleration, while intelligent motor control will improve traction for safety and performance.

This eye-catching machine will be packed with the latest signature VanMoof tech which inclides the much-loved Turbo Boost, Kick Lock for keyless locking, automatic gear shifting, and the all-important Theft Defence. With an expected, category-bending price of around £3498 (€3498/$3498), the V Hyperbike makes high-speed e-bike traveling in cities and beyond more straightforward and rewarding than ever.

Designed for a bike-first future, the speed, accessibility, and ease of the VanMoof V Hyperbike will shift the hierarchy on the roads. With more cyclists on the roads than ever before, the VanMoof V comes at a turning point in the history of our urban lifestyle. After the pandemic sparked a well-reported cycling boom across Europe and the USA, millions have already been invested in cycling infrastructure. However, to truly reverse the car-first mentality, cities need to make policies more open so our cities can enjoy a more sustainable future. The VanMoof V Hyperbike will hopefully help set those wheels in motion.
