Wasanbon Skull-Shaped Japanese Sugar

With Halloween rapidly approaching, our attention is inevitably turning to great little bits and pieces that will be milling around Coolector HQ come 31st October and this leads us nicely onto these, obscenely awesome, Wasanbon Skull-Shaped Japanese Sugar Cubes that will look the part from a scare point of view.

From purveyors of all things Japanese, Spoon & Tamago, these Wasanbon Skull-Shaped Japanese Sugar Cubes come in black and white and are made from wasabon, a fine-grained, premium Japanese sugar and are customarily made in the Shikoku prefectures of Tokushima and Kagawa.

Each pack comes with 9 black and 9 white sugar cubes and were designed by Japanese artist, Nobumasa Takahashi, and has a truly striking finish. Take a look at a few more shots below:

Though we’re not exactly obsessed with Halloween here at The Coolector, it’s definitely one of the more palatable holidays in our opinion and it is great little things like these Wasanbon Skull-Shaped Japanese Sugar Cubes that make it what it is.
