Ron Arad Armadillo Tea Canopy

As Brits here at Coolector HQ, it’s inevitable that we’re partial to a spot of tea from time to time and we’re not adverse to quaffing our refreshment in style so we’ve undoubtedly been won over by this rather extraordinary Ron Arad Armadillo Tea Canopy.

Now, we know what you’re thinking, drinking tea under a canopy that resembles an armadillo’s shell might be a little on the decadent side of things but there’s no escaping the awesomeness of the design from Ron Arad.

The Armadillo Tea Canopy is crafted as a stand-alone shell structure, for use indoors and outdoors, and offers a super cool looking enclosure, shelter or place of pondering with a cup of tea or, more likely in our case, a craft beer or two. Take a look at a few more shots of this spiffing construct below:

Consisting of five independent shells which provide cover and shade from the elements for you to relax, unwind and enjoy your cup of tea (craft ale), the Armadillo Tea Canopy from Ron Arad is exactly the sort of structure which we can get on board with here at Coolector HQ and whilst we don’t currently have any outdoor space in which to deploy such an excellent piece of design, we wouldn’t be adversed to setting one up inside our headquarters.
