Though New Years Eve celebrations are typically anti-climatic to say the least, there are a few places where it is still worthwhile ringing in the New Year and Times Square in New York is definitely one of those places. If you weren’t able to see in 2014 in the Big Apple then this excellent time-lapse video from Noel Cordero, Brandon Cotter & Hector Arrivillaga of the Timelapse Group is the next best thing.
The video is shot over a period of 12 hours and incorporates over 18,000 stills and it is a frightfully good watch. Shot from various landmark New York hotels, it provides a top-down perspective of the proceedings, this superb video really does capture the magic of seeing in the New Year in Manhattan. A great photography project that we here at Coolector HQ are certainly fans of – kudos, chaps.
