Deus Ex Machine The Seasider

With summer here, if you love surfing and riding motorbikes, you’re going to want to sit up and take notice of a, quite frankly miraculous looking, new steed from the guys at Deus Ex Machina that goes by the name of The Seasider and looks very much like being the perfect contraption for any surf loving adventurer.

Surfing is a way of life for many and finding the best spots for waves invariably involves a road trip or two and there can be few better modes of transportation for this than the spectacularly stylish The Seasider by Deus Ex Machina. For those with a love of surfing, it will boast the sort of retro, laid back vibe that is sure to resonate and we’re loving the sheer attention to detail in the design here at Coolector HQ.

Surf’s Up

The Seasider Motorbike by Deus Ex Machina has been crafted to have a distinct bicycle feel to it in order to reflect the slower pace by which surfers typically live and this provides such a cool aesthetic to the design that it’s almost impossible not to love it. In order to achieve this bicycle-esque look to the finish, Deus Ex Machina sourced a few vintage bicycle bits and bobs and had them restored to their former glories before adding them into the mix.

Just some of the pieces which were integrated from vintage bicycles include the handlebars and the front light and there was another bicycle inspired addition in the form of a rather dapper looking front basket. After the various bicycle elements were sourced, a custom metal frame was cut and welded up before being the real design flourishes began in the form of treated wooden slats to give The Seasider from Deus Ex Machina the ideal touch of surfing nostalgia.

With such a stand out visual impact, there is a real sense of old school cool to this The Seasider Motorbike from Deus Ex Machina is intended to be as lightweight as possible and in order to achieve this their workshop swapped out everything they could, using some imported rims from Japan and generally making sure things were as simple and purposeful as they could be.

Little Luxuries

There are all sort of neat little design touches throughout the Deus Ex Machina The Seasider Motorbike including an understated  leather seat which was made in a little leather shop just down the road from their workshop and the bicycle handlebars sport some supremely cool Japanese small switches. You’ll be hard pressed to find a cooler looking contraption on which to search for the best surf spots.

Exceptionally well crafted, stylish as they come and one of the coolest looking bikes we’ve encountered here at Coolector HQ, we’re sure there will be plenty of motorcycling fans out there with a penchant for catching some waves that will be dying to get their hands on these cracking contraption.
