The Grand Budapest Hotel

There are few movie directors who we favour more here at The Coolector than that of Wes Anderson and whenever he’s got a new film in the offing, we’re invariably the first to sit up and take notice. Well, that’s exactly the situation we find ourselves in now with the release of the first official trailer for Anderson’s next opus, The Grand Budapest Hotel, which you can feast your eyes upon above.

With a tough act to follow after his last movie, Moonrise Kingdom, Anderson seems like he’s definitely reverting to his quirky type in the star-studded film which stars Ralph Fiennes as a legendary hotel concierge who takes on a young protege and, as you’d expect, all sort of maniacal mayhem ensues. The Grand Budapest Hotel boasts all the major players that you’d expect from an Anderson movie – Murray, Schwartzman, Wilson, Brody et al – and throws a few extra stars into the mix such as Fiennes, Kietel and Dafoe and, we here at The Coolector, can’t help but think he has another winning formula on his hands.
