Illustrations of Architecture in Film

Following on from our recent coverage of the brilliant looking Filmography of Cars Print, we’ve got another for you in a very similar vein in the form of this rather excellent selection of Illustrations of Architecture in Film by Federico Babina.

We’ve all got our favourite films and whilst they are invariably remembered for the lead characters or unique plotlines, there is often an unsung hero of movies that go by unnoticed and that is the homes of the film’s main stays. Well, no longer, due to this fantastic series by Babina.

It’s not until you see the houses again (albeit in this stylised manner) that you truly realise and remember what an integral role they play in films and the artist has certainly opted to depict some of The Coolector’s favourite films including the likes of The Big Lebowski and Moonrise Kingdom.

As big design and movie fans here at Coolector HQ, these supremely well realised illustrations from Babina are completely up our street and, truth be told, they’re sort of making us want to watch the films that have come under Babina’s microscope again.
