Iron & Resin Lost Highway Collection

Moto inspired apparel is something that we’ve always got a lot of time for here at Coolector HQ and this is even more the case when it heralds from the stable of one of our favourite lifestyle brands – namely, the recently relaunched, Iron & Resin.

Iron & Resin have some absolutely awesome tees, jackets and accessories to spend your Black Friday loot upon. Iron & Resin are a brand we’ve got a lot of time for here at Coolector HQ and they were forged in Ventura, CA in a mass produced, disposable world, they are a product of “one-off” culture. Where men still build, by their own hands, the craft they ride, be it water or land.

One collection in particular has caught our eye as we head into winter and that is the adventure ready Lost Highway Collection of jackets and, if you get yours before Sunday, you’re in for some serious savings. Check out the best bits from the Lost Highway Collection below:

Ringo Jacket / $499

A part of Iron & Resin’s Lost Highway Collection, and a brand new leather outerwear piece for Fall and Winter 2020, the Ringo Jacket ($499) carries the vintage vibe aesthetic of Marlon Brando in The Wild One and that’s definitely something that we can get on board with here at Coolector HQ.

Worthy of flying down a forgotten road or for a night out on the town, no matter what you plan on doing, the Ringo Jacket from Iron & Resin’s Lost Highway Collection will never go out of style and has the sort of heritage quality passed from one generation to the next. Plus, everyone should own at least one leather jacket of this quality in their lifetime. Some of the stand out features include contrasted burgundy cotton back + interior sides, with black satin lined arms, heavy Talon® front zipper closure, two large ‘concealed’ style pockets for quick access and storage for items such as riding gloves, flask, and a snap button collar closure with Anchor Piston detailing. ($499)

Elsinore Jacket / $530

Brand new for the Fall + Winter 2020 season, the Elsinore Jacket from Iron & Resin ($530) is one-of-three unique leather pieces that makes up their awesome Lost Highway Collection. It takes its design inspiration from the nostalgic leather looks of the 60s + 70s which gives the Elsinore the feeling as though it could have been handed down by Steve McQueen himself.

With the extreme detailing on this 1.2-1.3mm vegetable tanned steerhide leather jacket, quilted padded shoulders, a moto-inspired tailored fit, Talon® zippers, and a Klamath blanket flannel interior (to name a few), it’s going to be hard to convince yourself to hand this on to the next generation – it’s the sort of jacket you’ll want to be buried in. A few of the more striking design details of the Elsinore include a Klamath pattern blanket interior, with black satin lined arms, four exterior Talon® zippered front pockets, a heavy locker loop draw cord on inside collar for ease of hanging and expandable zippered cuffs with Talon® hardware. ($530)

Beaumont Jacket / $499

The Beaumont Jacket from Iron & Resin ($499) is built specifically for that long highway road trip and boasts plenty of features that facilitate it. This classic but highly versatile and functional leather jacket will bring you those easy rider days as soon as you grab it from the closet and pull it on.  The moto-inspired tailored fit hugs your body with a heavy vegetable tanned steerhide exterior that’ll age finer and finer the more miles of wear and develop a patina unique to you and the adventures that you’ve been on together.

It pairs brilliantly with denim and a white tee and the Beaumont Jacket boasts contrasted burgundy cotton back + interior sides, with black satin lined arms, a heavy Talon® front zipper closure, an upper right chest pocket with custom Anchor Piston snap button closure and a small inside pocket with leather piping for cell phone + other small EDC essentials. ($499)
