Justin Poulsen Thumb USB

Whilst we don’t typically use USB sticks a great deal here at Coolector HQ, we more than willing to buck that trend now that we’ve come across these brilliantly inventive Thumb USB Sticks from photographer, Justin Poulsen, in a wonderfully witty “Stick Out Like a Sore Thumb” campaign.

It’s fair to say that one needs to do something extremely creative to stand out nowadays, particularly in industries as competitive of photography and this is something that Poulsen has pulled off with aplomb with his awesome looking, life-like, Thumb USB sticks. The Canadian photography employed the services of design agency, Rethink, to create his spiffing little gadgets and we’re very much wishing we had one or two in our workspace right about now.

The raison d’être of this supremely clever campaign is to highlight the fact that Poulsen doens’t rely on digital trickery when it comes to his photography and would instead much rather rely upon his use of physical props to make his work shine. Check out a few more shots of his Thumb USB campaign below:

We’re thoroughly impressed with Poulsen’s creativity in creating these Thumb USBs here at Coolector HQ and each one contains images from his portfolio so any lucky recipient of one of these in the post needn’t think a loved one has been kidnapped and instead should plug it into their computer to bear witness to some cracking images from this first rate Canadian photographer.
