We’ve shared a good few things by Colorado-based Topo Designs in our time, but until they stop designing such handsome, practical gear, we’ll show no sign of slowing down. We try to champion the products and brands we love, Topo tick all the boxes, twice over.

With a road trip currently in the works we’ve been on the lookout for items which will make the perfect travel partners for us. Cameras, jackets, camping equipment, backpacks….Topo Designs have hooked up with long-term buddies, Howler Bros – who specialise in outdoor and sportswear suitable for campers, hikers, surfers and all in between.

In fact, traditionally you may say Topo Designs and Howler Bros. would make head-on competitors, but with similar core values and vision for a better working relationship, for both of these team of friends to come together to come up with something new. It makes perfect sense. Check out a few more shots below:

Topo Designs and Howler Bros. have come together to create a suped-up version of Topo’s signature 15L Klettersack backpack. This special edition “pack mule” features all the durable components we’ve come to expect but with Howler’s extra sweet spin on things. They’ve added a mesh backing to help breathability, reinforced premium Horween leather lash tabs (side pockets to us) and base, and extra d-rings for attaching your travel commodities. They’ve added a brand new collaborative patch and tabs on the front for good measure too, which instantly gives you the right to receive nods of praise from other adventurers.

You’ll find lots of other useful bits, as found on their classic Klettersack; 1000d Cordura nylon water-resistant outer, fully lined inner compartment and enough space for a 15” laptop and your gym kit, or alternatively 20 bags of Bacon Fries and a flask topped with homemade soup. Who knows what kind of day lies ahead?

If you’re planning a road trip, getting into hiking, or just fancy an adventure in 2015 then the Topo Designs x Howler Bros. Klettersack is your new best friend. Made proudly in USA, to be used worldwide.
