PELLE Soap Stones

Architecture is something that we’re incredibly interested in here at Coolector HQ but we didn’t realise that those of an architectural slant would be quite so capable of producing first rate skincare products but that’s something that we’ve just learnt courtesy of these decidedly awesome looking Soap Stones by PELLE.

PELLE is the brainchild of a pair of designers, Jean and Oliver, who first encountered one another at the Yale School of Architecture and now have a studio in Red Hook in Brooklyn where they create all manner of fantastic furniture, lighting, interior goods and, of course, the top notch PELLE Soap Stones you see before you.

The superbly designed Soap Stones are handcrafted from glycerine soaps and are intended to be used for both display and personal use. The ingredients are all-natural and vegetable based and each of the Soap Stones is made by hand in their Brooklyn studio. Available in a multitude of scents such as Amber/Cedarwood, Onyx/Cassia and Citrine/Lemon, you’ll not be left short of choice if you want to make this your next skincare product. To us, it would almost seem a shame to use these eye-catching PELLE Soap Stones such is their visual appeal but if you’re in the market for some new soaps this summer, we’re definitely thinking that those with an architectural edge will be your best bet.
