SUPER73-ZX Electric Bike

There is clearly no shortage of options when choosing a brand to buy an electric bike from but only a handful sit at the top table in our opinion here at The Coolector and SUPER73 are chief amongst them. Their latest release, the ZX Electric Bike is an excellent example of why they have achieved this lofty status and it delivers an impeccable performance alongside a fair price.

Available for $1995, the SUPER73 ZX Electric Bike is going to tick all your style boxes and it backs it up with an unparalleled performance out on the open road as well. This stealthy looking steed is the latest addition to the Z-series line and brings one of SUPER73’s best-loved form factors into the next generation with enhanced electronics, a more lightweight 6061-T6 aluminium frame, and a bigger removable battery. Impressive stuff indeed.

Electrifying Performance

With a brand new, completely redesigned seat, much-improved ergonomics and a more upright riding position, the ZX Electric Bike stands as one of SUPER73’s most comfortable rides to date and can accommodate riding with a second passenger. The ZX’s aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminium alloy frame is much lighter and more rigid than steel. Aluminium is also rust and corrosion resistant for worry-free riding in all weather conditions. What’s not to like?

The ZX Electric Bike ($1995) boasts SUPER73’s new technologically advanced drive system, which has multi-class ride modes. Each one is delivered pre-programmed in the Class-2 riding mode, which allows for throttle operation and pedal-assist riding up to a speed of 20mph. This lets the ZX owners to legally ride on most bike paths and public roads without a license, insurance or registration.

Powered by a state-of-the-art 615 watt-hour removable battery and a brand new motor which has the capacity to output up to 1350 watts of peak power, the SUPER73 ZX delivers an estimated 30+ miles of range at 20mph when using just the throttle mode, and an estimated 50+ miles of range using the ECO pedal assist mode. After a new electric bike this summer? Call off the search.
