Vero x Windup Watch Shop Century 38mm LE Watch

We love it when the guys at Worn & Wound work on watch collaborations because they’re typically a cut above and that’s why we’ve fallen pretty hard for this Vero x Windup Watch Shop Century 38mm LE Watch which is an understated and effortlessly excellent timepiece that will add a touch of class to your wrist in 2020.

The Vero x Windup Watch Shop Century 38mm LE Watch is available in two different dial colours – Peak and Granite – and has a price tag of $1120. These cracking timepieces are limited editions offering and they are a dynamic duo of 38mm titanium field watches. One light, the other dark, both boast and show off Vero’s exceptional case manufacturing techniques, all done in-house in their Portland, Oregon workshop.

Sophisticated Design

There is something about a minimalist, understated watch that appeals to our sensibilities here at The Coolector and this Vero x Windup Watch Shop Century 38mm LE Watch is definitely one of the coolest we’ve seen in a while. These are the first 38mm watches from the Vero brand, one is refined and elegant, the other is rugged and rustic. They are limited edition releases and there will be just 30 of each, so these are truly unique timepieces that you’ll need to move quickly to secure.

The Vero x Windup Watch Shop Century 38mm LE Watches ($1120) are automatic, winding timepieces with a Sellita SW 210 movement that delivers exceptional timekeeping and accuracy. The have a 100m water resistance and a USA-Made case, dial and crown. Both these limited edition watches have their own unique sense of style and will add a touch of Don Draper-esque dapperness to your wrist in 2020.

First up, the The Peak is an adventure-field watch, which takes inspiration from elevation and achievement. The case is hand-finished, showing off titanium’s more sophisticated side. The dial is crisp white with dark blue numerals and heat blued Alpha hands that come to a remarkably thin point. Handsome and refined, the Peak works just as well with a blazer as jeans. Moving onto the Granite, which is a military/hiking-field watch, that is inspired by the warm earth tones it’s designed to be used in. The dial is muted grey with white numerals and ochre accents on the text and minute/second track. It is masculine and outdoorsy, and best worn with hard wearing materials and dark tones.

Move Fast

With just 30 of each version of this watch collaboration between Vero and Worn & Wound being made available, you’ll certainly have to move quickly if you want to be rocking one in 2020. They are high quality timepieces, typified by the Swiss-made automatic movement with 38-hour power reserve, hacking seconds and a frequency of 28,800 bph. Each movement is regulated in-house in 6-positions to +/-5 sec/day and features in-house heat-blued screws.

Priced at a reasonable $1120, the Peak and Granite watches are definitely ticking all of our horological boxes here at Coolector HQ. Effortlessly cool with a pleasing vintage vibe, we’re in little doubt that these won’t be around on the shelves for long so make sure you make your move now.
