Workerman Sound Stripp

Sometimes it’s the gadgets that are the simplest that are the most profound or, at least, the most useful and that’s undoubtedly the case with this outrageously simple Workerman Sound Stripp which, anyone with headphones will likely testify, is somewhat of a godsend.

The Workerman Sound Stripp is, for all intents and purposes, a right angle hook for hanging your headphones but if, like us, you value an uncluttered workspace above all else then you’ll likely see the merits of this cracking little construct exceeding this crude definition. Workerman (or WKRMN to give them their proper title) are the brainchild of Adam Brackney, who has crafted all manner of excellent little pieces of design and pocket knives for the modern man and the wonderfully stylish Sound Stripp will be an essential addition to the workspace of any chap who doesn’t wish to have his desk cluttered with unnecessary detritus, of which headphones are invariably the chief culprit.

The Sound Stripp will adhere to any clear, flat surface such as your Mac monitor (as m0st people working in the creative industries have Macs, this is a safe guess) and it will be the ideal ally in helping ensure you’re as productive as possible by freeing up your desk space and giving you the freedom to work without being distracted by all the junk on your desk. Needless to say, the Sound Stripp isn’t going to revolutionise the world but it is going to please those who don’t like having an untidy desk. We’re extremely culpable in the messy desk stakes here at Coolector HQ and anything that helps us overcome this affliction is certainly welcome and that’s why we’ve fallen for this devilishly simply but supremely functional bit of kit. If you too want to make your desk a headphones free zone when you’re not using them, a Workerman Sound Stripp will be right up your street.
