Art isn’t a strong point of ours here at Coolector HQ beyond us knowing what we like and what we don’t and something that definitely falls into the former category is this wonderfully bonkers collection of artwork from an Essex based artist by the name of Luke Tobias.
Through a love of sci-fi, comics and many other facets of modern culture, Tobias has crafted some excellent mash-up style artwork which include some of your favourite characters from popular culture such as Bobba Fett, Spiderman and Storm Troopers and expertly transplanted them into abnormal artistic settings. An undeniably talented artist and illustrator, Tobias’ madcap eye has captured our imagination here at The Coolector and we’re big fans of the skilled chap’s eclectic offerings. For those who like their artwork a little left of centre, these superb prints from Luke Tobias will certainly be well received and they’ve definitely got us hankering after them for the walls of Coolector HQ. Tobias’ eye for the absurd and ability to expertly intermingle numerous popular culture references simultaneously creates artwork quite unlike anything else we’ve encountered of late and we can’t wait to see what this talented fellow will come up with next.
