Cape Cod Beach House

For a lot of people, us included, a holiday home on the seafront is the dream and, it’s fair to say, if we were to picture said holiday home in our heads, it would look a hell of lot like this amazing piece of architecture from Hariri and Hariri that goes by the name of the Cape Cod Beach House.

Hariri & Hariri Architecture is a New York based architectural studio which was established back in 1986 by Iranian-born and Cornell-educated sisters Gisue Hariri and Mojgan Hariri and, as you can see by the exemplary Cape Cod Beach House, they are mighty good at what they do.

Beach Side Bliss

Situated in Provincetown, which is a thin strip of low-rise buildings at the curved tip of Cape Cod, this incredible piece of architecture from Hariri & Hariri is one of those designs which positively leaps out at you and you find your eye drawn to immaculate detail after immaculate detail.

Boasting an impressive 2400 square feet of space, the Cape Cod Beach House from Hariri & Hariri is situated on a sand dune directly opposite an eye-catching salt marsh and a stretch of breakwater that is over a mile long. The Cape Cod Beach House is a two-story structure that is overflowing with stunning interior design features within the three bedrooms, loft like living/dining/kitchen areas and a glorious, not to mention vast, terrace and covered balcony.

The lay of the land coupled with the Provincetown’s 23 ft. height limit on buildings meant that Hariri & Hariri were able to develop a snug, intimate relationship between the design of the property and its beachside location. It’s hard not to be impressed with what they have accomplished both internally and externally with the Cape Cod Beach House and we can think of few places we’d rather relax and unwind than this majestic piece of architecture from Hariri & Hariri.

Jaw Dropping Space

The Cape Cod Beach Hose from Hariri & Hariri has a phenomenal open space living, dining, kitchen which is surrounded by glass and huge sliding doors on the lower floor which open out onto a terrace with breathtaking views of the iconic Cape Cod bay. Aesthetically speaking, you’re unlikely to find many better pieces of architecture than this in 2017 and everywhere you look throughout this property is another mesmerising piece of design to be bowled over by.

As huge fans of innovative, eye-catching architecture here at Coolector HQ, this Cape Cod Beach House from Hariri & Hariri was always going to resonate and it certainly makes us want to up sticks and move to the coast. Incredible design ingenuity coupled with first rate interior design make this one of the best pieces of architecture we’ve seen in a long while.
