Period Correct x Super73 Electric Bike

So far as electric bike brands are concerned, there is certainly no shortage of options to choose from but there are few cooler or more appealing to our sensibilities than those from Super73. When we saw that they’d teamed up with another of our favourite brands, Period Correct, on a limited edition release, we inevitably sat up and took notice and, if you like what you see, move fast as only 15 of these Period Correct x Super73 Electric Bikes are being made available to purchase and they will undoubtedly sell out fast.

The Period Correct x Super73 Electric Bike is available for $3000 which is a bit of a bargain for a steed of this considerable calibre. There are plenty of unique design details to this bike that set it apart from others out there and if you want to add a bit of old school cool to your urban exploration, this is undoubtedly the machine for the job. Period Correct were understandably delighted to work with Southern California’s Super73 on a custom S1 Electric Bicycle and it takes its aesthetic inspiration from the brand’s favourite Alpina B9 detail.

Devil in the Detail

Undoubtedly one of the coolest collabs that Super73 have embarked upon, it’s not hard to see why this electric bike is flying off Period Correct’s digital shelves at an alarming rate. With only 15 been made available to buy, you’ll definitely have to get a move on if you want to get your hands on this majestic looking machine. This ace looking bike has a custom paint job consisting of a deep blue frame, fenders and the battery painted in Southern California to give an authentically cool look and feel.

The Period Correct x Super73 Electric Bike ($3000) uses vintage upholstery consisting of a premium, robust seat fabric that has been chosen as a homage to the brand’s favourite Alpina interior. This classy looking ride has a durable 768 watt-hour removable battery that allows riders to effortlessly charge the battery using any standard 110v outlet. It provides an estimated 25+ miles of range at 20mph under throttle-only operation and an estimated 35+ miles of range using ECO pedal assist mode.

The aluminium cargo rack comes standard on all Super73-S1s and is perfect for allowing riders to transport bags, upgrade to an extended seat, or add other accessories to their electric bike. The Period Correct x Super73 Electric Bike comes in one size. With a 30” seat height, adjustable handlebars, and a 275lb weight limit rating, it is designed to comfortably accommodate riders with a height between 4’10″ – 6’2”. Each bike is equipped with Tektro hydraulic disc brakes. Hydraulic brakes give the rider more control and modulation of the braking system with less effort. An ace collab that we’d love to get our hands on here at Coolector HQ.
