The Prohibition Series Beer

The Prohibition era is, without question, one that we here at The Coolector wish we were around to see because, God knows, we love a good hooch when we see one. But, as luck would have it, there is a brewer today that goes by the name of Central Coast Brewing who offer the visually brilliant Prohibition Series of Beer which takes its design aesthetic from the sorts of beers that were doing the rounds in the 1920s and 30s.

With fantastically monikered beers like “Catch 23” and “Lucky Day” to choose from, you’ll definitely be in for a treat with this eclectic mix of ales from the California based, Central Coast Brewing. This excellent looking brewer heralds from San Luis Obispo on the Californian coast and, it’s safe to say, their top notch looking Prohibition series of beers has definitely got us at The Coolector sitting up and taking notice (to be followed by a bout of lying groggily on the floor if the beers boast the same level of potency that was likely rife during prohibition).

We’re always on the lookout for new beers to enjoy here at Coolector headquarters and, as rather substantial fans of the undeniably excellent, Boardwalk Empire, we’re immediately sold by anything even remotely pertaining to Prohibition, so these spiffing looking beers were onto a winner right from the get-go.

Find out more about this West Coast brewer over at Central Coast Brewing.
