Star Warps

Star Wars is a mild obsession of ours here at Coolector HQ and whilst we twiddle our thumbs waiting for J.J Abrams take on the Star Wars galaxy, we need to find other related awesomeness to fill our time which is why it is lucky we stumbled across this fantastic looking book that goes by the name of Star Warps and which showcases some of the finest Star Wars artwork to have been crafted in various different mediums.

If you’re a fan of Star Wars, there is plenty to enjoy on the pages of Star Warps from both a fan-boy and art appreciation perspective and we’re mightily impressed with some of the creativity that has been exhibited by artists the world over to reveal their love of all things Star Wars. The book is the brainchild of DB Burkeman who has held an obsession with Star Wars since childhood and, inspired by four artists with a similar mindset (Bill McMullen, The Sucklord, JK5 and Kostas Seremetis) set about curating a book of Star Wars based artwork and the spiffing end result of this is the Star Warps Book that is positively filled to the brim with all manner of excellent and eclectic artwork pertaining to Star Wars in some way. For fans of Star Wars, there will be few better coffee table books than Star Warps with its brilliantly curated collection of Star Wars artwork and, even if you’re not that au fait with the Star Wars galaxy, there is still plenty to enjoy with the creativity of the artwork. Fortunately, we are rather substantial fans here at The Coolector and could literally spend all day poring over this superb accumulation of artwork that has been fantastically brought together by DB Burkeman.
