We like to think that we’ve got an adventurist spirit here at Coolector HQ and, for this reason, we’re always endeavouring to find outdoors-esque brands to help us maximise the Great Outdoors and we’ve definitely found plenty that have flown under our radar but, in actuality, one of the biggest and best, The North Face, is always pushing the boundaries of adventure and, in their latest project, See For Yourself, this very much comes to the fore.
The North Face’s See For Yourself Project has been set up in conjunction with Outside Magazine and aims to promote a pioneering spirit that lets people really see some of the best that nature has to offer by curating 50 of their favourite sites, trails and locales across the United States. In the awesome video above, a series of New York commuters were given the choice of whether they wanted to go their normal route or go exploring and we definitely know which option we’d be choosing here at The Coolector.
Boasting a myriad of awesome outdoor apparel and accessories, there are few better brands to be led on an adventure on than that of The North Face and we’d happily hail their adventure taxi and see where it takes us. For anyone who wants to be more adventurous in 2015, aligning yourself with brands like The North Face will certainly be a step in the right direction and we love the whole principal of their See For Yourself project because there really are so many breathtaking places to be seen on people’s own doorsteps that often go unnoticed or unvisited despite their proximity and spiffing endeavours like this are ideal for promoting the beauty of the great outdoors.
Christmas might be upon us but we’re already turning our attention to 2015 here at Coolector HQ and we’re definitely wanting to spend more time in the Great Outdoors over the next 12 months and we love projects like See For Yourself from The North Face because it reminds us just how much stunning scenery is out there just waiting to be explored. And the fact they offer the cracking apparel tailor made for time spent out in the wild is just the icing on the cake. A fantastic and engaging project which certainly captured our imagination and got us itching for adventure.
